Privacy policy
Last updated 3 November 2026.
This policy explains what personal information jacludlow.com collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. “Jac”, “we” and “us” mean Jac Ludlow. Questions go to jac@futurebeautygroup.co.uk.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use the form on the Book page: your name, email address, the kind of enquiry, the production, brand or salon you name, a date, and anything you write in the details box.
- Emails and messages you send Jac directly.
- The Ask assistant. If you open it, the questions you type and its answers.
- Analytics and ads, only if you accept cookies: which pages you visit and how you found the site (Google Analytics), and whether you came from or went on to book after one of Jac’s ads (Meta Pixel).
- Security logs. Our host records basic technical details such as your IP address and browser to keep the site safe. We also count enquiries per connection for an hour to stop spam.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a booking, session or course: our legitimate interest in answering you, and the steps you ask for before a contract.
- Analytics and ads: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page.
- Security logs and spam protection: our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe.
We do not sell your information or use it for anything else.
Who sees it
- Jac, who reads and answers enquiries.
- Hostinger, which hosts the site and stores enquiries. Its servers may be outside the UK; it protects personal data under the UK’s approved safeguards.
- Microsoft, which runs Jac’s email.
- Starta, the studio that builds and maintains the site, and runs the Ask assistant.
- Google and Meta, only if you accept cookies.
- Fresha, if you choose “Book a haircut”. That booking happens on Fresha’s site under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Enquiries sent through the form are deleted from the website after 12 months. Emails are kept for as long as we work together and then as long as the law requires for business records. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, object to us using it, or take a copy. Email jac@futurebeautygroup.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date.
