The issue 9 covers were the magazine’s first studio cover shoot, in East London, photographed by Marc Hayden. Jac, then barber and owner of Bo Jangles British Barber Club in Pontypool, shot the male cover; Tilly Maddison, fresh from barbering training at Toni & Guy, the female one. Friends on set included Ryan Bartlett of Three Chairs Grooming and Joshua Miles.
