“Why did the Welshman go to Norway?”
“Why did the Welshman go to Norway?”
From Bojangles to Oslo, in conversation with the founder of the British Barbers' Association.
Tony Haresign, founder of the British Barbers’ Association, calls Jac “The Welsh Wizard” and asks how a barber from South Wales came to open a shop in Oslo. Jac started at 14 in his mum Michelle’s salon, inspired by Vidal Sassoon, Patrick Cameron and Trevor Sorbie. He grew Bojangles British Barber Club to three branches before a Norwegian company asked him to help launch a chain of barbershops, which led to Escape. At 27 he was planning to grow Escape into a global brand, while running Jac Ludlow Education and sitting on the City & Guilds industry steering board.
